What we do?
At Genflow Product, we work alongside established influencers and celebrities to create physical products that they then sell to their following and beyond. We provide everything from trend research, logo creation, product design and sampling, manufacturing, fulfilment and customer service. Ultimately we offer an end to end service for our handpicked creators. In the last 18 months we’ve grown from selling a handful of products to creators with a small following, to
consistently selling tens of thousands of products per launch with creators that are household names, with launches now generating thousands of pounds within minutes.
Our product range is rooted in apparel, fitness and nutrition; however we are quickly growing into a full category offering to cater for our growing client base. With offices in LA and London so far we are quickly becoming more and more established. The next big step for us is to branch out our larger brands to wholesale and retail partners around the world. What’s the Job?
We are now looking for a Distribution Manager to join our growing team in London. Above all, you will be finding retail and wholesale partners for our amazing, sell-out brands.
We are seeking a driven individual with a comprehensive understanding of retail and wholesale deals. You will be liaising with internal teams and external worldwide retailers, supermarkets, distributors worldwide, gyms and more to drive sales and push our brands forward. As we are multi-category, you will be required to really get to know each different product and sector as you will be selling everything from fitness equipment to gyms, supplements to supermarkets, apparel to boutiques and department stores, and beauty to retail outlets and subscription boxes, as an example. This also includes supply to online e-tailers, distributors in other countries, amazon partners and any other opportunities to sell or market our products outside of the clients site.
You will do outbound daily and reach out to partners, negotiate a deal, then work with our internal supply teams to ensure the product arrives at the destination in good time and in the right format. As our brands are mostly influencer/celebrity led, you will need to be able to sell the vision they have and the growth of each brand to each buyer or partner. Our largest brands right now are fitness brands, therefore someone having worked in the fitness sales industry is preferred.
It’s a huge opportunity to really open up our retail and wholesale division, make the role your own and grow with an incredibly exciting company. The company growth is such that the right candidate will soon be managing their own team, leading deals across multiple clients in the US, UK and beyond
-Experience working in product distribution, selling physical products into
retailers ideally worldwide
-Actual sales experience selling bulk product
-A rock solid understanding of the retail buying process, margins required across
different verticals and their buying patterns
-Being able to pitch and present products or brands confidently and eloquently
and converting this conversation into a sale
-Experience with phone sales
-Experience analysing and tweaking costings and margins to evaluate how we
can get the sale
-Proficient in Microsoft office suite
-Strong analytical skills
-Great at problem solving and takes initiative at every opportunity
-Worked in greater London for at least 2 years
-Willingness to learn new areas
-A can do, positive attitude
-Ability to understand tasks quickly and work independently
-Solid attention to detail across multiple clients and products
-Solid understanding of the influencer world
-Contacts and relationships with buyers from retailers across the fitness industry
-Understanding of how factories work and how supply chains work
