You will be joining our Marketing team
The role of the PR Executive is an exciting opportunity within our dynamic marketing team, reporting to our Marketing Lead. Your role will include the management of all media relations for Genflow and the CEO, working closely with the team on the development of this division. Going beyond traditional PR methods, you will be able to bring new ideas to the table, which span traditional and digital media platforms and new ways of working, creating standout communications activity for the company.
You will be expected to bring a wealth of media contacts to be able to effectively pitch news stories, reviews, profile features, wider long-read features and product placement across a cross-section of media channels including print, online, broadcast, podcast, trade, business and consumer.
The role will include leading all proactive and reactive media relations with influencers as well as traditional media, devising events and media partnerships for Genflow and the CEO. This includes press opportunities, industry conferences, as well as podcast or Tv appearances. You will work closely with the in-house marketing team, to deliver communications that impact the business commercially.
Responsible for activating the PR & marketing strategies for our brand to engage and grow media presence across traditional and digital channels
Responsible for devising and executing all proactive feature and brand placement in the web3, entrepreneurial, business, startup and creator economy space.
Responsible for creating marketing dates and social calendars and working with all internal teams to ensure integrated and timely messaging
Responsible for calendar development and tracking the best opportunities across the industry to ensure great campaign exposure and business recognition – use of great writing and storytelling skills.
Responsible for creation and distribution of all traditional and digital press materials
Responsible for monitoring, reporting and optimising all campaigns implemented, reviewed against set KPIs
Responsible for identifying opportunities both internally and within the industry and target media
Responsible for working closely with key brands to identify and build opportunities
Proven experience within PR, social media, blogger outreach, events
Understanding of digital marketing tactics
Proven excellent understanding of the lifestyle industry and media landscape
Excellent media contacts at editor level, as well as excellent influencer relationships
Ability to manage target expectations and report on KPIs
Experience running press schedules and interviews – ideally including talent handling, photocalls and junkets
Excellent time management, writing ability and attention to detail
Fluent, clear and articulate in communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm
Able to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver responsibilities
Able to work independently and flexibly with passion and energy
